Situation unchanged and snippets of news – lockdown week 6

Little has changed as we all know, but our volunteers are doing a good job maintaining the green. Cutting is taking place weekly at present with brushing twice a week. Repairs are being undertaken on a few areas that are not yet up to scratch and netting placed to protect repairs. Of course all this has been done with just a few of the many willing hands. The volunteers are all observing social distancing rules. The support and response from all the members is tremendous and typifies our club ethos.

A good bit of news was the awarding of the Small Business Grant of £10,000 from the government. This has to be used to cover running costs of keeping the club in business and doing essential repairs and maintenance. This is much appreciated at a time when our income is almost zero. More details of this can be found in the members section of the website.
