Durham County Women’s Fours

On Wednesday afternoon at Darlington Woodlands our ladies team of Linda, Yesi, Lynn and Yvonne were playing their semi finals against Darlington South Park . 

They dropped a six on the fourth end to be 1-9 down but got back to 10- 10 all and after a very competitive game they won 20-17.

The final was then played at 5.15 against Newton Park and the team played really well after 6 ends the score was 10-6 . After that Newton Park never scored another point and the final score was 19-6 .

Brilliant display by our ladies and for the first time in our Club history this is the first fours team going to the National finals in September.

They will be playing on September 3rd at Victoria Park , Royal Leamington Spa.

This is massive achievement and many congratulations on behalf of the Club.
