Celebrating a SUEZ Funding Boost
Funding Boost for Lyndhurst Bowling Club (1905) Ltd.
Lyndhurst Bowling Club is celebrating a £14,430 funding boost from the SUEZ Communities Fund.
The grant was made for the stone boundary wall which needs extensive repairs and refurbishment. In addition a new decking area with seating is being created in the club gardens. This will be done exclusively with recycled materials. The grant will also provide additional equipment for our thriving junior section.
George Dodsworth, club Chairman commented, “this grant from the SUEZ Communities Fund is excellent news for our club. It will enable us to maintain the high standards of our club and develop our junior section, and benefit our wider community. Our continuing mission is to develop the club as a community asset for the future”.
Our bid with the SUEZ Communities Fund was supported by the People’s Kitchen, Gateshead Rugby Club, David Bolt the Regional Bowls Development Officer for Bowls Development Alliance in conjunction with Bowls England and the Right Honorable Henry Liddell.
Matt Young, Chief Executive of the SUEZ Communities Fund added “SUEZ Communities Fund provides funding awards through the Landfill Communities Fund. We were delighted to be able to offer funding to Lyndhurst Bowling Club (1905) Ltd”.
