I know we have had a lot of success on the Nationals & County side this year including the Juniors but I thought it might be worth while giving an update on how we’re doing in the normal leagues we play in;

  • In the 10s league on Monday nights we are in the top 3 with a game in hand.
  • In the vets league on Tuesday afternoon we are 2nd with 3 games to go and we have to play the leaders Whickham B at Lyndhurst in the last game of the season.
  • In the Cowen cup on Wednesday nights we are sitting mid table but it’s quite congested with a lot of teams with similar points.
  • Considering how many debutants and players with limited experience who have played this season in my opinion it’s been good and it’s a positive outlook for the future.
  • The internal mixed triples event is reaching its mid point Friday the 5th July and despite a few gremlins I hope everyone will agree it’s been a big success & hope we can continue with a similar format next season!
